Last week, one of our US partners, Service Tire Truck Center (STTC), visited the headquarters of Magna Tyres in Waalwijk for the first time. We had the pleasure of visiting their headquarters some time ago, and it was time for STTC to experience our state-of-the-art facilities in The Netherlands.
STTC: A Family-Owned Company in the US Tyre Industry
For over seven decades, STTC has been the trusted company for PCR, TBR, and OTR tyres in North-East of the USA, beginning its journey in 1955 as a modest 3,000 sq. ft. retread shop. Today, it proudly stands as one of the largest commercial tyre dealers in the United States, with a presence across over 50 locations over 8 states. Both STTC and Magna Tyres are family-owned businesses. This has provided a natural synergy from the very first time we’ve met.
A Shared Vision for a Long-Term Partnership
Although the STTC team already had a good understanding of Magna Tyres’ story, the visit provided a wonderful opportunity to showcase our home and articulate our shared vision for the future. After an extensive tour of our facilities, we had in-depth discussions to improve our collaboration now and realise ambitious growth plans together.
One of the main topics on our agenda was the recent launch of the M-TRUCK TBR tyre line, a product with enormous potential for the U.S. market. Given the good quality and value for money that STTC has come to expect from Magna Tyres’ product portfolio, the team expressed their eagerness to introduce this innovative tyre line to their valued customers.
As both our family businesses continue to strengthen our bond and work toward a future of greater brand awareness in the U.S., we are excited to embark on this journey together, knowing that the road ahead offers limitless opportunities for success and growth.
